“a person is a fluid process, not a fixed and static entity; a flowing river of change, not a block of solid material; a continually changing constellation of potentialities, not a fixed quantity of traits.”

Why come to therapy?
It’s safe to say that the stigma of therapy has lifted, and more and more people are making the decision to see a therapist. You do not have to wait until “breaking point” to benefit from seeing a therapist, and there is no “right” time to start therapy. Undertaking therapy is a very personal experience. A person might come to therapy to process complex trauma, work through relationship struggles, or simply have a desire to get to know themselves more. There is great benefit in getting to know ourselves more deeply since the gift of self-awareness benefits not only the inquirer, but also those around them.
