What is integrative psychotherapy?

Integrative psychotherapy is a tailored approach to therapy that positions the client's unique experience of the world above any one-size-fits-all model of therapy. Instead, the integrative approach draws on various theories and modalities to tailor the treatment to the clients' individual needs. It is considered a gold standard, evidence-based approach to psychotherapy, which acknowledges that no specific therapeutic model is superior; each has utility that best fits the client's presentation.

  • Individualised treatment

I aim to create a safe space where my clients feel understood and supported; this is both a priority and a measure of therapeutic benefit. I work collaboratively with the client to design a treatment plan that focuses on their desired goals. Goals will be discussed in the first session and reviewed throughout our therapy to ensure the client is getting the most out of our time.

I happily welcome individuals from the LGBTQIA+ community and all faiths and cultures.

  • How does it work.

A free consult call is available so that I can learn your reasons for seeking therapy and you can gain a sense of who I am and if I am a good fit for you.

The first few sessions will be focused on getting to know you and what it’s like for you to be in the world. This will entail identifying your desired goals, understanding your relationship history, lifestyle and the circumstances that have brought you to therapy.

After the first couple of sessions we will devise a treatment plan in collaboration supported by my therapeutic knowledge.
